Vocal-S chapter 1

"Ama....Hey...Ama-chan...Amaaaaaaa wake up!" Amateratsu shook Amagaku's blankets fiercly, especially for such a shy, selfconcious girl. "Ahhh, what is it Amu? i'm trying to sleep...." Amagaku swatted the air and rolled over. "What do you mean your trying to sleep? It's 8:15 already!"
Amagaku nearly jumped through her ceiling. "WHAT?!"
"Come on Ama-chan, its time to go, we'll be late as it is!" Amu threw a uniform onto Amagaku's bed. It was a white shortsleeve sailor top with a black collar and a pink stripe and bow, with a black pleated skirt and stockings.
They hastily prepared for school, although since they lived in the building it wasn't too far to their classroom. They made it in time, entering as the bell rang. But, there was no teacher in the room. They immidiatly recognized two people in the crowd of chattering students. A girl with light green hair, and a boy with long white hair held in a ponytail. "Oiiiiii, Kumai, Suika! Hey!" Amu called out to them, running over and hugging Suika. Amagaku silently walked behind her, nodding her head to her two friends, smiling kindly at Kumai.
"Where is the teacher?" Amagaku asked Suika, gently hugging her. "I'm not sure, rumor is this proffessor is always late." Kumai interjected before Suika could answer. Suika glared at him, she didn't like it when people did that.
Suddenly, a girl with short blond hair rushed into the room, tripping over herself as she entered through the door, nearly knocking Kumai over. Amagaku instantly reacted and put the girl in a policeman's arm hold. ".....What were you just doing to Kumai?" she growled. The girl glared up at Amagaku, she was suprised that such a clumsy girl could look so scary. The girl pushed Amagaku away and assumed a stirdy stance, as if she expected her to attack. 'I am Kaeru Reni, and it was an accident, I thought I was going to be late...."
Suika glanced at Amagaku, and quickly moved her head back and forth, but only an inch so no one else could notice. Suika was one of Amagaku's few close friends, and since Ama couldn't understand that some girls just make mistakes and aren't trying to 'steal Kumai', she helped her behave properly in public. Seeing Suika shake her head, Amagaku immidiatly bowed to Reni. "I appologize, I shouldn't have overreacted." she said, she had rehearsed appologizing to people with Suika many times, she wasn't a people person.
"Ummm..." Reni was alarmed. "It's ok, I guess. Not too big of a deal." She raised her eyebrow at Amagaku, who was still bowing. Amu came up and slapped Amagaku's back, forcing her to stand up straight. "Hahahaha... That's our Ama, so polite. why don't we all sit together at lunch later? I'm Amateratsu Fushoune, but you can call me Amu!" She pointed at herself enthusiastically.
Reni smiled kindly, losing the frightening aura that had been about her. "Sure, why not." She glanced at Amagaku questioningly. "I really...am sorry, I didn't mean to act angrily." Amagaku bowed slightly again, only to stand back up when Suika attempted to quietly stomp her foot.
Suddenly, all the students, in usison, stopped talking. They could hear the sound of high heels coming down the hall. All the other classes had started. They quickly stumbled to their seats, trying to get there before the unknown proffessor strolled into the room.
A woman with long black hair wound up in a bun walked into the room, wearing a dark blue suit and knee length skirt.
"Hello class." She smiled cheerfully, the class was quiet, unsure how to react. How could this be their teacher, who is rumored to always be late, and so eccentric? "I am vice principal Kyouyune. I would like to welcome you to your first day at the Vocal-S Academy, a special branch school for a project that enhances any area you wish, or in your case, what your parents wish."
"As our parent's wish my ass...." Amagaku mumbled under her breath. As most of the students here ran away from home or were orphaned to begin with, there weren't many parents acutally involved, since so many were against the Vocal-S project.
The vice principal drawled on for a minute, talking about the nature of the school, its history, while the students stared at her, their eyes glassing over. Everyone knew it, no one wanted to listen to this. The teacher finished up her little welcome speech, and said "well, now that that is all said and done, this is your teacher, Ariella." She extended her hand towards the door. Nothing happened. "Umm, Miss Ariella, will you please come in?"
"Oh! Was that the 'signal' you mentioned earlier?" The class strained to see who the voice on the other side of the classroom door belonged to.
A woman with Long blond hair, wearing a 'customized' suit with flames on the bottoms of the dress pants waltzed into the room.
She gave everyone a big grin and thumbs up as she introduced herself. "Hiya everyone! I'm Ariella, I'm gonna be your teacher for this year!"
Everyone replied in unison. "Hello Ms. Ariella." Some people in the room seemed a bit exited, she seemed like a nice enough lady, and she didn't look a day over 25 either, so many of the students would easily warm up to her.
"I only have 1 rule for you kids. If you listen and treat me right, I'll do the same with you." It seemed reasonable enough, right? "But, if you dont....I'LL MAKE YOUR LIVES HELL!"
The entire classroom nearly fell out of their seats and hid under their desks. Yeah...this lady was definatly eccentric....
